Some new rumors to get you excited today about the Moto X courtesy of the fairly reliable Taylor Wimberly, the former owner of AndroidandMe who previously leaked the 8 core system on a chip that appeared in the new Droids and that is rumored to be in the Moto X as well.  He also was one of the first to leak that the Moto X would have customizable colors.  So what's his latest leak?  How about 'Moto Magic Glass, an xWatch possibly released simultaneously with the Moto X and dual LTE antennas.  Here's the scoop:

- Moto Magic Glass: the Moto X will supposedly feature a slab of Gorilla glass molded to a polymer, resulting in a gap-free surface that wraps on the sides of the phone. There’s no gap between the glass-polymer ensemble and the back.

- Google smartwatch: remember when we reported exclusively on a smartwatch being in the works at Google? xWATCH might be the codename of the device, and the smartwatch might be launched on August 1 along with the phone. There’s supposedly some sort authentication-related integration between the two devices.

- Standalone dual-LTE antennas: Taylor says that the Moto X will feature a standalone dual LTE MIMO antenna, as well as a separate antenna for 2G/3G. Most devices have one antenna for both standards.


We don't know about you but this gets us kind of excited!

Well Sprint version should have tri-band lte since that is their new gamble. I'm no longer exited about the moto x since Motorola is still developing carrier specific phones(Droid line). Which I thought they were stopping with the moto x.

Wow...I'll tell you from using a Motorola i580 flip phone with the pull-up "wire" antenna, this one should allow you to get out or receive from under heavy brush or even in a canyon. Motorola's have pretty good antennas. Very nice design.

The X glass sounds good...I caught a rumor that Sapphire Glass was a possibility but I'm sure to cut costs, they'll stick with GG.

We'll know more one week from today (Thursday)  :)
