As we reported earlier this week, on September 10th, Motorola and Google hosted a factory dedication ceremony for the Moto X plant in Fort Worth, Texas. A small army of tech and mainstream reporters were invited to the event which included a factory tour, question and answers with top executives and a final dedication ceremony with speeches by Google Chairman Eric Schmidt, Motorola CEO Dennis Woodside, Flextronics CEO Mike McNarmara and Texas governor Rick Perry. One of our favorite tech review sites was on hand with her video camera to get some great footage both inside the plant where 2500 employees put together every Moto X phone that is built, as well as at the dedication ceremony after. It's a great 7 minute video that will show you a bit about how the Moto X is assembled, introduce you to some of the people that help run the plant as well as see some inspirational and even humorous words by the key players.
One highlight occurs when Governor Perry tosses his iPhone just before being presented with a custom Moto X made in Texas A&M colors. Definitely worth the watch for all you Moto X fans out there and thanks to MTR for putting this video together.
