There's always a little bit of breath holding when a new device comes out and we're awaiting the reviews. We can picture Dennis Woodside, CEO of Motorola, wondering if his bet on the Moto X will turn out to be a success or whether the tech press will lambast him and have Google handing him his walking papers. Well we're happy to say Dennis has nothing to worry about because his bet paid off. The reviews are rolling in and for the most part they are decidedly positive. In fact, even notorious pro-Apple sites and personalities like Joshua Topolsky of 'The Verge' go so far as to say 'MOTOROLA ASSIST IS ENOUGH BY ITSELF TO MAKE ME WANT A MOTO X'. He doesn't stop there either.
Engadget was equally wowed by Motorola's new device and interestingly was particular floored with the battery life. Somehow, reviewer Joseph Volpe was able to get a full day's heavy use out of his Moto X and still only ding about 1/4 of the device's battery life. Impressive to say the least.
Now of course not all was roses and candy and each reviewer did have their one or two details that they didn't like or that could use some improvement. But overall, the tone..and dare I say endoresement and even excitement for the Moto X was palpable in these reviews. The video reviews are really just short snapshots and to get the real deal I encourage you to click over and read the full deals at their respective sites. Once you do it just just might sway you into buying a Moto X if you aren't already convinced.
