Motorola Moto X Support/Accessories Website Sections Go Live
« on: August 14, 2013, 08:29:06 AM »

As we approach the launch of the Moto X, Motorola continues to flesh out its website and as of last night the support page as well as various accessory pages have now gone live.  As can be seen in the above and below images, we've got a few case selections as well as a dock and navigation dock.  The clear Snap Case goes for $29.95, while the screen film protectors by Powersport go for $14.95.  Griffin offers two docks; a standalone Powerdock for $39.95 and Navigation dock for driving also $39.95.  Below we see the Moto X sound accessories by Sol Republic.  Starting with the Tracks on ear headphones for $99.95, and then the Jax in-ear headphones for $39.95 and finally the x wireless speaker for $199.99.  Now interestingly the headphones and speaker will all be available on Motomaker.com as well in varying colors to match your customized Moto X phone.  Check the cases out here, the sound accessories here and the docks here.

Next up is the support page.  Now while they've got a bunch of content up...including various help topics such as 'Using Motorola Assist', 'Touchless Control', 'Motorola Connect' and 'Migrate', they also have a 'Trouble Shooter' and 'Getting Started Guide' up.  Still to come is the Moto X User's Guide', but a placeholder already up leads us to believe it will be up shortly.  We also see the 'Lost Device' and 'Tips' sections open but both require you to log in your specific phone in order to access.  You can take a look yourself at the support page.

Finally, if you hit the main 'Motorola.com' site you'll notice that the Moto X section has been slightly revamped.  Now featuring some new graphics and some more details...such as can be seen in the below shot of the 10 MP Clear Pixel camera.  We're getting closer folks!  Are you excited yet???

On the accessory front before (or if would be better) I get a case, it would have to keep the screen slightly above the surface when lying down. Otherwise I'm afraid I'd accidentally slide it and build up some hairline indentations. Wondering if those cases shown on Motorola's site are built like that. It's hard to tell from the side shots.
