Ebony and Ivory...get it?
So now that we've seen and heard just about everything there is to know about the Moto X. When can we buy one? Well today there's a report based on an article in AdAge that says August 23rd is the day. Now previously we had seen leaked shots of an internal memo from Verizon tipping the 23rd as the sale date but this is the first we've heard about a specific date from these other carriers. In addition we're learning that while as we know AT&T will be the only carrier offering the 'Motomaker' customization options, that exclusivity won't last for long. Starting in early November, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile will join the customization party and allow their customers the same custom colors, accents and options. Hey, that might be just in time to nab an Ebony or Rosewood back that i've been hankering for! 8/23 is only a little over two weeks from now ladies and gents so who's ready to pony up for the Moto X?Ad Age:
The phone will be available on wireless carrier shelves August 23, according to people familiar with the situation. All four of the major carriers – AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon – will carry the phone at that time.
However, the customizable colors will be exclusive to AT&T at first. The other three carriers will carry Moto Xs in stock black and white until early November. At that point, the three other carriers will allow customers to choose from all the color options.
We like this Rosewood back tooAdAge
