How do i make sure i dont use up all my data?
« on: September 04, 2013, 01:28:08 PM »
I just picked up my moto x and I'm coning from an iPhone 5 and 5 years worth of iphones before this. I am wondering if someone can fill me in on how to make sure I'm not burning up all my data with stuff running in the back. I could just double click the home button and my iPhone would show me and I could x out of them... With this phone it seems like its running NASA no matter what I do.

Also, remember that you have WiFi capable and you can shut off data whenever you're not using it. Also, always check app permissions before installing apps. That will give you an idea if the application will be running in the background.

My phone deactivates cell data while on wifi automatically.

I have never had to use an app to accomplish that.

Isn't that how it's supposed to work?
