PowerDock for Moto X
« on: August 19, 2013, 09:29:52 AM »
The PowerDock by Griffin is a pretty bare-bones charging dock. You simply set your phone onto a micro-USB port built into the dock and it charges. There is a little support stand on the dock that keeps the Moto X at a pretty steep upright angle so that you can still see the screen easily. The stand is also slightly adjustable and can hold cases up to 2mm thick. It retails for $39.95 and comes in a black and white color.

Thanks, I was looking at that dock.  It looks cool, and easy to use.  I just wish it had some additional functionality to it, like syncing to HDMI or connecting to a monitor, mouse, and keyboard or something like that.

I too was looking around at something I could just set the phone in and forget about it. My old i580 motorola flapper worked like that with a small desktop charger. Just put it in at the end of the day and in the morning, it's ready. Now the HTC Rez I have uses a usb cable but like to lean it up against the computer desk upside down to charge so I can see the charging light on the phone. Not the most stylish but it works.
