If you've been waiting to buy a really top-notch audiophile quality bluetooth speaker then today is the perfect day to grab an awesome deal on one of two Denon bluetooth speakers.

First up is the Denon HEOS 1.  This is the smallest member of Denon's audiophile multiroom system that can be used either independently or networked with other HEOS speakers such as the HEOS 3, 5 or 7.  This is the newest version of the HEOS 1 and includes bluetooth built-in.  It offers awesome sound from its two drivers and while it is a plug-in unit, you can purchase the optional 'Go Pack' which includes a rechargeable lithium ion battery.  This new version of the HEOS 1 also includes high resolution audio support as well as support for streaming services such as Amazon Prime Music, Pandora, Spotify, TuneIn, iHeartRadio, SiriusXM, SoundCloud, TIDAL and Rhapsody.  Normally priced at $199, there's a special sale going on right now for $100 off!  That's right...the HEOS 1 is just $99 for a limited time.  You can grab one at the link below.

Ok, so say you want an all-in-one unit that includes a built-in lithium battery and will provide you with knock your socks off sound in a portable package and you plan on using the speaker exclusively with your phone or tablet to stream music and don't care about multiroom networking.  If that's the case then the Denon Envaya DSB200 is the speaker for you.  This speaker will literally knock your socks off.  It has some of the most powerful bass and the fullest 'soundscape' and depth of sound of any portable bluetooth speaker i've ever heard.  Don't believe me?  Just read some of the reviews and they'll back me up.  This thing ROCKS.  It has a 100mm bass radiator in addition to two 57mm full range drivers and has all kinds of special electronics voodoo added in from high resolution aptX® CSR decoding, MaxxAudio® technology and even includes 4 different colored grill inserts to customize the look of the device.  Normally the Envaya DSB200 would set you back $199...and in fact that's the price it's still selling for on the Denon website...but it's on sale on Amazon right now for just $79.99!  That's an amazing deal.  If  you've been looking for a bluetooth speaker that has AWESOME sound quality...you need to grab one of these right now.  I'm serious...this thing will blow away any other portable bluetooth speaker even 3x the price.

Ever feel like going on adventure and wish there was a resource that could instantly tell you all the cool stuff around you to do?  Well that's what Local Guru does.  It's an amazing new app...really more than an app...a great resource...that let's you instantly see what cool adventures, activities and interests are close by and hooks you up with a 'guru' to lead you on your adventure or activity.  Using your location you can see a list of adventures led by a local expert or 'guru'.  Perhaps you want to take a hike, or learn to surf or go horseback riding or a mountain biking adventure.  It's a great tool to explore wherever you are and geared to the outdoors adventurer in us all.  Even better, it lets you filter for price and proximity to your location.  You also can click on the map to any location and do a search in that area to see what is available in other areas.  Just think of the possibilities of planning a trip or vacation and being able to tap the location on the map and book a cool adventure where you're going to be.

Now the founder of 'Local Guru' is a great guy named Joseph I had the pleasure of meeting recently in Santa Monica.  Joseph and his team put a lot of effort into procuring only quality adventures and activities led by knowledgeable experts in whatever the adventure is.  The app is constantly being improved and refined and new features are being introduced all the time to ensure that the adventures you go on are of the highest quality.  Give 'Local Guru' a try and if you have any ideas to make it even more useful feel free to send them a note.  Make sure any local experts and 'gurus' you know sign up to offer their activities through Local Guru's app and help spread the word and make Local Guru the national sensation it deserves to be.  Grab the free app at the link below.

You can also learn more about the Local Guru app at their website: www.localguruapp.com

The Android ecosystem has a nearly limitless number of apps, games, movies and music to enjoy through Google's Play Store.  But wouldn't it be nice if you can have all that fun on your living room or bedroom television all the time, even when you're not using your phone?  Play games, use apps, watch movies...all on the big screen and without having to use your phone to stream.  use the Nexus Player to stream to all your mobile devices.  It's a great compliment to all your Android devices and you can get a dedicated game controller for that arcade experience as well.

Now you might be wondering...well what's the difference between Chromecast and Nexus Player?  Well while Chromecast can just 'cast' what's on your phone or tablet onto a larger screen it doesn't have it's own custom user interface like the Nexus Player.  The Nexus Player is much more akin to Amazon's Fire TV or Apple TV and lets you access Android TV on your television with the Google Play Store.  You can  also use Nexus Player with its own remote control and have custom recommendations come up as well as view your entire library of content on your big television screen as well as play multiplayer games which you can sync across multiple devices.  It's also much more powerful than Chromecast on the inside.

The Nexus Player is powered by a 1.8GHz Intel Atom quad-core processor, Imagination PowerVR Series 6 graphics and 1GB of RAM, and it has 8GB of storage. There's support for the lastest 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1, plus an HDMI output for connecting it to your TV.   It's a great addition to any Android household and normally it's $99 on the Google site.  You can also find it in some other stores for $89.99 but for just today Best Buy has it as a daily deal at only $49.99.  That's a screaming deal and a great opportunity to pick up a Nexus Player at half price.  Use the link below and get yours before the price goes back up!

How many times have you had your phone or tablet with you and found you really wished you had a portable keyboard to write out a long message, email or perhaps even get some work done while at a cafe.  You struggle to compose your work on the touchscreen and you've thought of buying one of those wireless bluetooth keyboards but always felt they were almost as big as a traditional keyboard...so why bother?  Well here's a great option that is both small enough to leave in your bag, backpack or purse without ever feeling like you're lugging around a keyboard, while also providing a quality typing experience that is very similar to the high quality Microsoft Surface keyboard that is widely acclaimed.

Microsoft's foldable portable keyboard gives you just about everything you'd look for in such a device...portability as well as tactile physical keys and great battery life.  What Microsoft has done is split the keyboard into two sections, with an inch wide middle canyon that it folds across.  Now some of the reviews mention that the key size has been slightly altered in order to fit this configuration and that it does a take a bit of adjustment to get used to it.  But after using it for a little while you quickly become accustomed to the modified layout and are able to type quite handily on it...certainly a great improvement to typing on a tiny screen of a phone or tablet.  Normally the Microsoft foldable keyboard lists for $99 and if you look around you can find it in the $70-$80 range, nut just for today Best Buy has it as one of their 'Daily Deals' for only $49.99.  That's a bargain and the lowest price we've ever seen this cool device.  If you're been looking for a quality, super portable keyboard to use with your phone or tablet that gets up to 3 months battery life between charge...grab one at the link below before the price goes back up.  It's cross compatible too so works with Android, Windows and iOS devices.

Mobile Tech Review's Lisa Gade put the LG G4 against Motorola's newest Moto X, the Moto X Pure also called the Style outside of the U.S.  Both phones feature similar processors, the Snapdragon 808 as well as large QHD screens with the G4 at 5.5 inches and the Moto X at 5.7 inches.  So what did Lisa think?  Well it's a tough call to be honest.  While Lisa seems to prefer the G4 in more areas, there were a point or two that went to the Moto X.  Let's start off with the negatives of the G4.  The Moto X did have a slightly brighter screen and the screen size is .2 inches larger for those that like that.  The Moto X also features some of Moto's trademark gimmicks such as starting the camera with a shake of the camera as well as the nice optional wooden back. Lastly the Moto X features almost pure android...so a very, very light customization that isn't nearly as in-depth as LG's skin.

So what about the G4?  Well just about everything else came out ahead. Starting with the phone itself, the G4 is lighter and has a slightly smaller footprint, and is easier to hold.  Next, the battery of the G4 lasted a good 45 minutes longer of screen on time even though both sport the same 3000mAh size battery.  Another win was with the camera with Lisa noting the G4 takes better low light photos and also better video, making good use of the optical image stabilization that the Moto X lacks.  The manual mode on the camera also is a boon for the G4.  Finally, the button placement on both phones really comes down to preference with the G4's on the back and the Moto X a more traditional side placement.  Overall, however it seems that Lisa prefers the camera so much on the G4 that it takes the prize for her, but frankly it's pretty close and if screen brightness is of paramount importance the Moto X could be a solid choice as well.

Due to overwhelming requests over the past year we're happy to announce our newest mobile device community, http://iPhoneCommunity.net; a forum and news site dedicated to the iPhone.  While our initial communities were dedicated to Android users, more and more of our members have informed us they have multiple platforms and OS's in their homes and many told us they would love to have an iPhone community here as well.   While we've dabbled with some Apple device forums for specific devices and the iPad before, we've never had a general iPhone forum that will cover all iPhones until now. So if you do have iPhones in your home, are knowledgeable about the iOS platform or are just curious and would like to learn more, please register over at http://iPhoneCommunity.net and help us build the newest and greatest iPhone resource on the web!  Don't worry, we'll still be posting to and maintaining all of our Android sites as well.  This is just our latest edition so come on by if you're an Apple aficionado!

The 2015 edition of the Moto X is called the Moto X Pure in the US and Moto X Style elsewhere.  It features a similar design language to last years model with the unmistakable Moto X curves but some changes too such as a larger screen, new back button and dimple, new back materials and more.  So what did Marques think? In short he thinks the new Moto X Pure/Style is the best Android phone you can get for $400 or less.  Highlights include a bright, accurate display, some of the loudest, clearest front facing stereo speakers of any phone out, super fast charging via turbo charging technology, good battery life, much improved camera, fast Snapdragon 808 processor and 3GB of RAM.  Perhaps the greatest feature of all is the sub $400 price tag which really makes this the most affordable flagship out.  Grab one through out Amazon link below and let us hear your comments as well.
